Cynthia Leslie - Christian Counselor

I offer Christian counseling for individuals who want to include their faith as an important part of their healing journey. I have a heart for people who are hurting and seeking transformation, and I strive to provide compassionate, faith-centered guidance that helps them find hope, healing, and purpose.

In my practice, I integrate Biblical insight with counseling tailored to each person’s unique temperament and God-given traits. My goal is to help clients better understand themselves, grow spiritually and emotionally, and move toward living the healthy, whole life God has called them to live.

Called and Prepared

I started Healing Thru Christ Christian Counseling and Coaching after earning my M.A. in Clinical Christian Counseling and serving women for more than twenty-one years. My background spans mental health, pastoral care, grief support, psychiatric rehabilitation, and recovery coaching. The National Alliance on Mental Illness honored my work for creating faith-based initiatives, which reflects how seriously I treat both spiritual and clinical care. Each woman I serve receives thoughtful, Christ-centered help shaped by this rich history.

Heartfelt Calling

Counseling is not simply a profession for me, it is a calling to walk beside women in their hardest seasons. I pray regularly for those I counsel, seek the Lord about their concerns, and invite His wisdom into every session. Women share their stories without fear of judgment, knowing I take their pain seriously. My calling is to speak life, offer biblical guidance, and support steady steps toward healing and hope.

Temperament-Focused Care

Through Temperament, also called Creation, Therapy, I look beyond surface behavior to the unique way God designed you internally. By understanding your inborn needs, relational style, and stress points, I can suggest practical, biblically grounded strategies that actually fit who you are. Many women feel relief as they finally understand themselves without shame. This approach brings greater peace, healthier relationships, and spiritual growth that honors your God-given temperament.
